Day 14 (SUNDAY 02 AGUST 2020).
The Eviction Sunday, 18 house mates where up for eviction Never be the same again
Housemates now know that their final fate is in their own hands, what will they do?
At the end of the day. Ka3na and lilo where finally evicted from the big brother house. Ka3na and Lilo on Sunday became the first housemates to be evicted from the BBNaija ‘Lockdown’ house.
Ka3na’s last words after being evicted from the House was that she would miss Lucy and Dorathy, as those were the two Housemates she had grown closest to.
DAY 15 :(MONDAY 03 August 2020.)
The new lovers
After the eviction night, thing is known to have changed and the change is said to be constant till the last day. That same night, Kiddwaya's attraction to Erica which has been a badly kept secret, was revealed. yesterday the pair reached an important milestone. Erica had long been wary of Kiddwaya's smooth-talking ways and had even confronted him about his flirty nature and lack of discretion. While sharing a blanket on the couch after the Live Show, Erica and Kiddwaya got closer than they have ever been before. Kiddwaya was thickly laying on his usual romantic ramblings and tried to pull Erica's head in closer for a kiss.

Then the house game challenge. The games so far have given every Housemate equal opportunity to win, and tonight was another great example of that. The game was similar to previous ones as it was a board game with the Housemate who progresses the farthest in One Minute and ten seconds of play being crowned the Head of House. To start the Housemates have to roll a 6, and once they got going the board was littered with stumbling blocks and obstacles depending on where they land. The obstacles ranged from simple things like a ring toss to difficult ones like scoring a ball in a hoop.
Big Brother Naija Housemate, Ozo emerged the Third and first male Head of House after he completed the course in the allotted time they were given to complete the game.
As required for the new head of house, Ozo was asked to pick a deputy and he chose Dorathy. However, his on and off love interest, Nengi, must have been expecting to be picked. She wasn't. Ozo's choice and her reaction when the announcement was made was priceless.
DAY 16 (TUESDAY 04 AGUST 2020).
The day started with the decision of ozo as the head of the house and his choice of preference as deputy. The Stirring tension Ozo's choice stirred up a bit of tension in the House and he needs to stand by his decision to keep it moving. Ozo selecting Dorathy over Nengi, his perceived love interest as his Deputy HoH stirred up a bit of emotion in the House and resurrected the entanglement drama he once thought he was free of. Making his choice. After what seemed like a long pause, Ozo responded with Dorathy’s name when he was asked by Biggie his choice for Deputy. Earlier before coming into the Diary room, Ozo spent time hanging with Nengi giving room to the speculation that he was probably going to go with her and this probably raised her hopes. If she was thrown off by Ozo’s choice, she did a good job of hiding it as she cracked a smile when Ozo announced Dorathy to the rest of the Housemate.
Also today happens to be Ozo's birthday as housemates took turn in wishing him well.
He tried to have a discussion with Nengi over his choice but a large part of the conversation revolved around Nengi trying to brush him off and play it cool. The only time she expressed disappointment or hurt was when she expressed how hot she didn’t win the Head of the House Challenge even though she came close. She gave a good show acting like she wasn’t bothered about Ozo’s action, you guys saw the hurt.
Todays challenge is Flutterwave store Lockdown shopping Challenge
Courtesy of Flutterwave, the Lockdown Housemates were challenged to put on their creative thinking hats and make magic.
For today’s Task, the Lockdown geng were required to form 4 teams.
Flutterwave is an African payments technology company touted as having the most modern infrastructure for online and offline payments, in the continent. With this in mind, the Housemates were instructed by Biggie to create a Flutterwave store with selected products using cardboards, and an advertisement campaign for the store. This Challenge presents an opportunity for the Housemates to celebrate the key role of small businesses in Nigeria by creating advertisements for their curated stores.
This Task is going to be divided into phases and spread across the day.
Phase one:
The House must be divided into four teams - two teams with five Housemates each and two teams with 4 Housemates each. In addition, each team is to come up with a creative team name, this name shall also be the name of the team store.
To provide a level of comfort and uniqueness to this Task, Flutterwave provided the Housemates with team merchandise.

Phase two
To begin this phase, each team is required to write down their team name and team members on the notepad provided. Also available for this Task are A5 sized cards contain products which the Housemates must use these to create your teams’ Flutterwave store. Each team is to come up with a two-minute advertisement campaign to be presented in the Arena this afternoon. To aid in their preparation, Flutterwave prepared their currently running television advert for the Housemates to watch. How creative is your favourite Housemate? Team EVON So after Team Evon got to a slow start, wondering how they will make their advert pop, they came onto the set and showed off what they are made of. Vee put on a show for the people as she started by telling her audience the problem that needed to be solved- her face was a mess. This was quickly followed by the rest of the crew coming to her in her sleep, singing her messages that she needed to visit Evon store and get herself some natural products to solve her problems.Perhaps the part that got you thinking was when Vee is speaking to her friend Ozo when she wakes up and he mentions that he bought gifts for Dora, Nengi and Tolanibaj at the same store- and she should try it.
Day 17 (WENSDAY 05 Agust 2020).
The day started with a fine work out which is a must in bbnija house and any housemate which could not participate faces a great repacuation. But the workout session which got Kiddwaya sweatimg heavily was a story for Brighto who was busy sleeping through out the session. A Housemate who didn’t even get a workout in was Brighto. It wasn’t because he was injured like Laycon, but rather because of laziness. Working out in the Big Brother house is not an option, and Brighto slept through the entire session. His sweet dreams would have been interrupted by Biggie fining him for sleeping through the workout, but he slept through that announcement too. Let’s hope that Brighto learns from this and participates tomorrow, or waking up is going to become a bad experience for him every day.
About the days challenge, the house was Tasked by Dulux to create a room for a young female working professional who loves bold style. The room they would be in charge of Anteroom, otherwise known as the reception, and it needed to showcase her love of art while blending in with the neutral colours of the house. The room also had to be warm and inviting while adding a pop of colour to the house.
Another major highlight was the house cleaning clash. Dorathy and Tochi got into it over cleaning roles. Tochi’s main grudge was that he didn’t like being bossed around while Lucy insisted that his inability to figure out how to properly carry out his outlined cleaning role is why she was in his case. In the end, both parties did what they wanted and ranted to different Housemates. Kiddwaya and Deputy HoH, Dorathy almost got into it about who swept where, but calm heads prevailed.
For the first time this Season, the House witnessed an awkward fight between love contenders.
Determined to win this week’s Wager Challenge, the Housemates stayed through the night practicing for their music drama. With Trikytee being the producer and leader of this Task, the Housemates sure had to put their acting masks on alongside some level of discipline and seriousness.
Also it was noticed that for the first time in the house Ozo raged at Prince.
While rehearsing for their music drama rehearsal, Prince walked out on the rest of the Housemates and Ozo wasn’t having this and for the first time, Ozo was heard shouting at the top of his voice while expressing his disgust.
Finally the love rose. Laycon kept pressing hard to win erica over to love him. But i dont think is working out cause erica draws closer to kiddiwaya as the day passes. Everything is fair in love and war. And laycon is paying the price. The deputy house head Dorathy adviced laycon to let the love grow. Will laycon take the advice? We are not certain.
The night ended with lots and lots of conflict between the housemates. Draging for boyfriend, bed confrontation and so on. Apart from the Erica and Kiddwaya situation, Wathoni had to contend with Tolanibaj over Prince. Tolanibaj who had announced her interest in Prince to Vee had to put up Wathoni who, apart from being on a quest to shake tables also had a thing for Prince. This interest soon resulted in Wathoni interrupting a conversation Tolanibaj was having with Prince to create an uncomfortable triangle. Sensing Tolanibaj being upset and acting strangely towards her, Wathoni soon accosted her asking why she was giving a negative vibe.
Day 18 (THURSDAY 06 Agust 2020)
First, let's start with the fact that at least all the Housemates made it to the workout this morning, after Brighto's fine moment yesterday, we don't think many Housemates will be missing out on any workouts anytime soon.
But it was very obvious that the housemates were weaker than usual. What could have been the problem?
Could it have been the shocking and completely blindsiding breakup that left Erica uninspired for the workout while Kiddwaya worked off the memories? Breakups are not easy, we know. Perhaps this is giving Nengi the incentive to keep working on her fitness? We can only watch and find out.
Was it perhaps the blow-up between Ozo and Prince that left the Housemates shook and therefore subdued? We know that when Praise leads workouts, he hypes his Housemates up. Today we were lead by Dora, Eric, Ozo and Prince, maybe they just don't have the vibe that Praise has? but of course we dont know for certain.
Erica the bbnija queen.
After mounting a charm offensive on more than one of the female Housemates Kiddwaya, our Billionaire playboy, finally decided to focus on Erica. Their romance was quick and very eventful. Even though their attraction was as visible and vibrant, there always seemed to be something authentic missing. Just a few days after their first kiss Erica decided that their fun had run its course and pulled the plug on the 'ship, turning it into a friendship.
Whenever a couple splits there is usually a partner who manages to turn the break up into a positive event by flourishing afterwards. This is the winner of the break-up. In the case of Kiddwaya's and Erica's split, it seems that Kiddwaya wants to be that partner. Rather than rest on his laurels, Kiddwaya is actively trying to improve himself starting with his fitness. Today during the gym session he could be seen putting in more than his usual massive efforts
After the sweat session had come to an end Kiddwaya went to the kitchen to prepare some healthy food and opened up to Praise, Eric, and Prince about wanting to shed some weight. Praise shared that he also feels that he has issues with his weight and was refining his fitness regime to reach his body goals. Kiddwaya also took advice from Prince and the usually silent Eric about what works for them in terms of attaining their body goals.
Could Kiddwaya be worried that now he is a single man, he needs to be in top form to secure a partner? If so who could that partner but
With lots of interest from his fellow female Housemates and many days left in The Big Brother Naija Household, there is no telling if this is the beginning of the next chapter in Kiddwaya's story or just another set of smooth moves in an attempt to win Erica back?
Later in the diary session, the house mates let out alot of Truth. It was obvious that. They really missed ka3na and lilo. Many Housemates alluded to the fact that they miss Lilo and her energy and calm. In particular, Tochi and Vee made mention that her nature is missing from the house. On the up-side, Housemates can feel that Eric is coming out of his shell and interacting with more people now. Again, Vee made reference to Eric's personality shining through and how he is such a great. person. We will wait to see how people vote and see how you agree at home. They also and unanimously agreed that Ozo is the best head of house. No wonder they won their first ever wager.
The Lockdown Housemates won their first Wager Task of the Season after back to back loss. The Housemates secured the win after hitching a ride on the DeLorean time machine and taking a trip back in time to deliver the performance of their lives. The 80s romantic musical was the theme of their much-anticipated Wager Task performance and it was a sight to behold.
The Housemates had their previous BBNaira balance of 1,090 BB Naira doubled to 2,180 BB Naira giving them more earning power to shop till they drop this weekend. This is their first major win and hopefully, this would herald more victories for the Housemates.
Later that night the house had the coolest dou over as they all let out their emotions and feelings about the action taken by ozo over prince. And every body had his cool once more.
Day 19 (FRIDAY 07 AGUST 2020)
There was nothing much that actually happened today. Despite the fact that the house won the last night wager, it seems as if the housemates have lost their groove. But alot of love scene are seen playing in between and everything that resolve around it. The love stories really had its toll on laycon. Who is suffering from one-sided emotion in the hands of Erica. The thing about falling in love with your Lockdown BFF is that it comes when you least expect it and someone always gets hurt. it’s not wrong to catch feelings for your friend because the truth is that you can’t lie to your feelings. BUT you must be ready with the consequences like when your friend is already with someone else or worse still if she’s not attracted to you in that way.
How do you deal with them telling you that they find you mentally attractive but not attractive enough for a relationship?
That not all. Dorathy and Ozo might be having it hot as Ozo pays and still holds Nangi to high esteem just like he said that she is his spec. As a reward for outstanding performance during the Wager Task, the Head of House was given the fridge so the Housemates could celebrate with their favourite brand of alcohol. But that wasn’t exactly the interesting part. Things turned sour briefly when Dorathy realised Ozo had the key but he was hesitant to open the fridge because he was waiting for a certain someone. That certain someone happened to be Nengi who was still in the kitchen. You all saw it too.
As part of their Friday tradition, the Lockdown Housemates played the Betway Sports Trivia. Determined for a win, the Head of House and his Deputy divided the House into equal teams and carefully selected who they thought was a best fit for this game. Of course, we could easily guess who picked who before this selection was made. For instance, the obvious case of Ozo picking Nengi as his first team member… in this week’s episode of ‘what’s new?’
There seems to be a whole new changes in the house as alot of things were seen unfold, the housemates are becoming more friendlier and happier despite the fact that they will be reduced by two on Sunday. Also alot of bonding and blending going on. Lucy came out more lively and friendly than her usual self, wathoni spending quality time with prince with out drama and prince tends to be enjoying the company. Kiddwaya and Erica's relationship which was said to might have ended suddenly started jelling back together as they were seen kissing and cuddling each other.
