PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT............ SCHOOL RESUMPTION DATE ON 7th SEPTEMBER SHOULD BE DISCARD
This is to inform the general public that the Date circulating on social media which is September 7 ,stating that it's when higher institutions will resume is a false information, pls kindly discard such information as the date is a proposed date announced by Jamb as the date to kick off various institutions Post-utme exam so as to enable WAEC students tidy up her exam. After jamb shifted her date from August to September so as not to have Post-utme exam time table crash .
Many as being asking if school resumption will take place September, and from look of things it will but the question is what date exactly as we urge our Nigerian students to go and study for her exam and prepare for the unexpected.
The Students Union Government through the Digital PRO of the SUG will definitely informed their Students whenever a date is being fixed for Resumption.
By month end students will know the date for resumption of schools across the country and also it's noted that the students unionism of National Association of University students(NAUS) alongside polytechnic & College of education we hold a nation wide protest come Aug 19 as a means to urge the federal government to reopen the institution as they're delaying a lot of students academic year.
Stay tuned for more information by following our social media platforms through the Digital PRO of the SUG for latest educational news 24/7.
The Students Union Government appreciates the Students of Federal polytechnic Oko for being law abiding citizens and observing the Covid-19 principles and prevention method .
