Senator Ifeanyi Ubah's convoy attacked at Enugu-Ukwu.
He was ambushed by heavily armed assassins who opened fire on his convoy.
Some of his aides were killed including some police officers.
The senator managed to escape as his car was riddled with bullets.
according to some reports, they said that, He was followed by those gunmen to Enugwu Ukwu and luckily for those gunmen got an opportunity because there was a heavy holdups at Enugwu Ukwu because the ceremony of new yam festival been held by Prince Chukwudi igbo Agwuna.
So the gunmen started shooting and kill some police men and some of his aides
We sympathies with some of the police aides who lost their lives.
