A yet to be identified student of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, has been rushed to St Michael hospital, Oko, on Saturday night, few hours after he posted on WhatsApp status that he has few hours to live.
Oko Poly Gist reliably gathered , the victim is an occupant of Nnabugwu Crystal Apartment, Extension Site of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State.
According to a an eye witness, who spoke on condition of anonymity. He explained the victim had lamented on WhatsApp status of the wickedness of man and why it is not good to be kind hearted.
The quote on his WhatsApp status made available to our correspondent reads; " I really have to stop my goodness to people. please don't ask me why, view and pass".
The post continued, " I feel like taking snaper this night. I am in serious pains, I have few hours to life on earth ".
An occupant of Nnabugwu Crystal Apartment who spoke to Oko Poly Gist said, it was a female student who informed the lodge president of the victim post on WhatsApp. The lodge members have to get access to his room through the balcony after knocking for minutes without response. He was found unconscious.
The lodge members of Nnabugwu Crystal complained bitterly of the attitude of staff at Chukwunonso hospital, Ojo, in Anambra State.
They explain the hospital do not attend to Polytechnic students when it comes to emergency at night.
"We knocked at the hospital gate for several minutes without response. This is not good ". They had complain.
As at the time of this report, a nurse at St Michael hospital have started treatment on the victim. Although, it is yet to be confirm if he truly took sniper..
