NAPS Secures Release of Unlawfully Detained Student, Urges Students to Stand Against Fear and Intimidation_
In the early hours of today, Thursday, 12th December 2024, the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) Zone F, under the leadership of Rotr. Comr. Umezuluora Chukwuebuka C. (PRINCE UMEH), successfully facilitated the release of students of Fed Poly Oko, who were unlawfully arrested by the men of Obosi anti-cult squad in their various lodges at odd hours.
NAPS was able to secure the student's release without paying any dime. This achievement demonstrates NAPS' commitment to protecting the rights and welfare of its members.
The association has warned the commander of Enugu anti-cult squad to desist from further harassing students, emphasizing that such actions will be met with peaceful demonstrations and protests that will involve all media stations.
To our students, we urge you to stand against fear and intimidation. You have the right to live and study without harassment. Remember, you are not alone; NAPS and SUG are always here to support and protect you.
