A horrific incident occurred in Abagana on Tuesday, January 21st, when a man poured fuel on his wife and set her ablaze, resulting in her tragic death the following day.
According to reports, the couple, who are residents of Abagana, had been experiencing marital issues due to the wife's alleged infidelity. The wife, a native of Anaku town, had been married to her husband for several years and had six children with him.
However, trouble began when the wife started cheating on her husband and would often sleep out, leaving him to care for their children alone. Despite interventions from neighbors, the wife continued her infidelity, prompting her husband to ask her to leave his house.
The situation escalated when the wife refused to leave and an argument ensued. the lady accordingto eyewitnesses attacked the husband with a shovel and In a fit of rage, the husband, who was holding fuel, poured it on his wife and set her ablaze. The wife was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries the following day.
